The Downtown Dallas Arts and Music Festival (DDAMF) is an annual, free to attend, family and pet friendly, out-door, 2-day event held in celebration of Dallas Arts Month in April. DDAMF not only celebrates the dynamic cultural diversity representing Dallas-Fort Worth but also serves as a central platform for local artists and musicians to showcase their talents, fostering community engagement and direct interaction with the arts.
Dallas Arts Month, is a city-wide initiative that began in 2013 to promote awareness and appreciation for the work of Dallas artists and art organizations. Throughout April, numerous events, including exhibitions, performances, and festivals, take place across the city, highlighting our lively cultural community. Residents and visitors are encouraged to participate in events and programming offered by art and cultural institutions from all disciplines.
