Women And Family Life Center Updates And Announcements - November 2023

Clubs and Organizations

November 6, 2023

From: Women and Family Life Center

Dear Friends of the Women & Family Life Center,

Happy Fall!

It does not seem possible that we just had Halloween a few days ago, and we are now moving into Thanksgiving.

As I start the season of thanks, I want to thank all of YOU!

Each person has made the Women & Family Life Center what it is today. Current and past staff and interns who help those on the shoreline day in and day out. The current and past board members who support the work of the staff and the mission that drives us. The current and past volunteers and facilitators who give us their time and talents. The current and past partners who work alongside us and team up so we all can provide the best service to the community. The current and past participants who trust us during their difficult life transitions. And, of course, the current and past donors who, without, we could not keep our doors open and continue to help our neighbors in need. THANK YOU!

Thank you for allowing the Women & Family Life Center to be part of such a wonderful, supportive community.

Nothing is impossible,

--

Meet our New Development Manager! Julie Lister

"After a long career in the fast-paced world of advertising on Madison Avenue in New York City, I decided to change my lifestyle by moving to the CT shoreline with my family. In making this change, I was eager to get involved in the community and apply my skills to non-profit work. Since moving to Guilford, I soon became aware of the good work of W&FLC and am thrilled to now be a part of the team that makes it all happen."
