From: Women and Family Life Center

Dear Friends of the Women & Family Life Center,

I hope your summer is off to a fabulous start and you're taking time to relax and be with your family and friends.

I am honored to share some exciting news on behalf of the Women & Family Life Center. Over the last year, the board and staff have worked hard to develop our new strategic plan and where we see the center going over the next three years.

First, I want to share the Women & Family Life Center's new mission.

To support and empower women and all families during challenging life transitions.

Second, a small change to our vision.

Communities where women and all families are free from violence and harassment, are economically and emotionally secure and have access to equitable opportunities.

The Women & Family Life Center is about supporting and empowering those were serve in order for them to grow. While we want everyone we serve to be economically secure, it is essential that they are all emotionally secure as well.

Within the next few months, you will see some changes (you may have already started to see some) here at the Women & Family Life Center. We will build our foundation in a fully collaborative effort with all involved in the Women & Family Life Center. Staff, board, volunteers, donors, partners, and of course, participants.

We are switching around our development and the work with our generous donors and supporters. We will be changing how new programs are implemented to align with what is going on within our communities. And will be concentrating our work on going deep before we go wide as we focus on the needs of those we serve. Our guiding principles moving us forward are about compassion, accountability, engagement, and community.

We are very excited about the change and growth of the Women & Family Life Center, and we welcome you to join us!

Please feel free to reach out with any questions, if we can provide help, if you are looking to donate, or if you would like to get involved with the center!

Nothing is impossible,
