At Women & Family Life Center, we are excited about the programs and individual services we will offer in 2024 to create meaningful change in our community.

Year End Appeal Continues!

Sharing Stories of Hope & Triumph
Come celebrate stories of hope with us from women and families who have experienced challenging life transitions. When the unexpected happens, Women & Family Life Center is a place where people on the Shoreline can turn for help. The Center provides a network of support and a safe space for those struggling on life’s journey. Enjoy complimentary beer and wine, hors d'oeuvres, a sit-down dinner, entertainment, and live and silent auctions.

THANK YOU to Women Recreating Retirement for their donation to W&FLC!
Women Recreating Retirement is a group of retired or semi-retired women who seek to enhance their lives through the fun of social, community, travel, and small group activities.
We love partnering with this fabulous group of women including Marie Shepard & Rosemary Cofrancesco, pictured here with W&FLC staff Jenny, Melissa and Jamie. We look forward to having them in our Carriage House twice a week.
NEXT THURSDAY IS #WearBlueDay
On January 11th, National Human Trafficking Awareness Day, Blue Campaign invites you to take photos of yourself, friends, family, and colleagues wearing blue clothing and share them on social media with the hashtag #WearBlueDay. Anyone can participate, all you need is a piece of blue clothing! Join Blue Campaign in raising awareness of human trafficking through social media this #WearBlueDay.
ADAPT IS BACK
Adapt is a divorce preparation workshop that provides a comprehensive overview of divorce to help individuals acquire the tools needed to make the best choices for themselves and their family. An expert in divorce and family law explains the divorce process and options to consider. Our facilitator gets rave reviews: “The information that she provided pulled it all into perspective. She was wonderful and I would recommend her to anyone going through the process of divorce...”

The Shoreline Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Task force (SDVSATF) is a collaborative effort among providers on the shoreline to promote advocacy and awareness campaigns while coordinating resources and aid in the prevention of domestic violence and sexual assault.
The SDVSATF will be having their next meeting Thursday, January 25th @ 9:00 AM at the W&FLC Carriage house. 96 Fair Street, Guilford, CT.

Restart Divorce Support Group Begins February
Are you thinking about getting a divorce or do you know someone who is? This divorce support group is designed to provide information, skills and support for those contemplating or navigating divorce. With the guidance of a Divorce Attorney/Coach, participants will learn the essential skills needed to thrive through and after divorce. This is a six-part series and participants are expected to attend all sessions. To get started, email a referral navigator below!
