From: Women and Family Life Center

Thank You

Ten years ago, #GivingTuesday began with a simple idea – a day that encouraged people to do good. Because of you, the movement has grown into a worldwide phenomenon inspiring a multitude of generous acts and reimagining a world where generosity is a part of everyday life.

The GivingTuesday Data Commons estimates that giving in the United States alone totaled $3.1 billion on #GivingTuesday 2022, representing a 15% increase compared to GivingTuesday 2021. 37 million adults in the U.S. participated this year in GivingTuesday in some way, a 6% increase from 2021, contributing critical support to causes, communities, and non-profit organizations as the giving season begins this year in the face of substantial economic challenges and continued volatility.

This year, Women & Family Life Center set a goal of raising much needed $5,000 during the 24 hours of #GivingTuesday.

W&FLC is a private nonprofit that depends on the financial contributions from individuals, businesses, and foundations to fulfill its mission of providing resources and education for women and all families in crisis.

Thanks to a generous community of donors, we not only met our $5000 goal, but exceeded it by raising $6,170! We are so grateful for everyone who was able to donate to our #GivingTuesday campaign, as well as for donors throughout the year who contribute their time, expertise, and support in a variety of ways. Together, we are making our community a better place!
