From: Women and Family Life CenterDear Friends of the Women & Family Life Center,
As we move to the end of the Center's fiscal year, it is hard to put into words how much we appreciate your support of the Women & Family Life Center.
The support everyone has provided this last fiscal year has allowed the Center to keep our doors open and to serve women and all families in need on the shoreline.
Thank you does not seem like enough to say to each of you who donated to the Women and Family Life Center's 2023 fiscal year!
I want to share just some of the thank-yous we have received from those we serve. These thank-yous are because of YOU and YOUR support!
"Words cannot express the thanks I send to you on the behalf of myself, and each individual that has discovered your center. You work closely with each one of us with passion, patience, love, and understanding and spend hours of dedication until you find a solution; the Women & Family Life Center is a blessing from God." -GAP Participant-
"I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking care of me. Your generosity in taking care of my car repair bill has done so much for me. Beyond words. I have a working car now. I don't have to go into the car and pray before I turn the key in the ignition. There are no loud sounds or noises from the brakes and engine. It feels like a brand-new car. A car that I can feel safe driving with my baby inside. This is paramount for me. I am eternally grateful and want to share that. Thank you!!!!!!" -PB To The Rescue Recipient-
"The workshop was excellent, and the facilitator was warm, friendly, and informative. I thought this workshop was great. I am incredibly grateful for any and all of the services offered through the Woman and Family Life Center!" -ADAPT Participant-
"She is helpful, personable, caring. Without her support throughout this process, I wouldn't be where I am today. Each step of my divorce requires different financial aspects. She was able to guide me through each critical point and what needed to be done during that time." -Financial Consult Participant-
"At a moment when I was overwhelmed seemingly never-ending issues and difficulties, acknowledgment of support made a difference in my life. The endless issues and difficulties in my life looked never ending, and the light at the end of the tunnel was nowhere to be found until the day I discovered the wonderful Women & Family Life Center." -GAP Participant-
"I know where I stand on the issue and how the process works, which is a big help. Thank you so much! I feel blessed to have a place I can turn when I don't know what to do." -Lawyer Time Participant-
"It helped me feel like I wasn't alone. It was comforting to know the feelings I am experiencing are normal. It gave me the confidence to know I can do this." -RESTART Participant-
"Thank you for your help and support it was much appreciated! The group was a big help, and I would definitely recommend it to others. It was helpful and supportive to hear from other group members. I know it is okay to cry and that it is part of the healing process." -Life After Loss Participant -
"I think you're a very good agency. I think you're very nice people, and you did a great job to help me and others. I would recommend anyone I know to go see you. You're a very good agency. You've helped me quite a bit, and I really appreciate the help I've been given so far." - Discretionary Fund Recipient-
"There are no words that can describe how appreciative I am for your thoughtfulness, generosity, and kindness. Be assured that you have made a difference in my life and probably many others in my situation." -GAP Participant-
Thank you to those who have donated and those who are donating this month during our annual appeal! As we say, we could NOT do this work without YOU, and we mean it!
And to all the fathers out there, by blood or love, we wish you are very Happy Father's Day!
