As we look back on the past year, we want to express our gratitude to the many generous people who have helped us help 527 people from 57 towns receive 5,626 individual services though the guided assistance program (GAP).

It is also the time of year when we are making a year-end appeal to compassionate friends of W&FLC, like you, to make a year-end donation, if you haven't already.

The Women & Family Life Center started as a group of caring women with the goal of wanting to support other women in times of crisis, such as domestic violence. That goal has not changed 30 years later. 

Domestic violence is something those on the Connecticut Shoreline are not immune to. Approximately 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men have experienced severe physical violence, and 1 in 2 women and 1 in 2 men have experienced psychological aggression by an intimate partner.

Our wish this holiday season is to continue to help those on the Shoreline in times of crisis, including domestic violence. Your donations ensure W&FLC is that place where if they are not sure where to turn, they can turn to us. With your support, together you and W&FLC will continued to walk with them, support them, empower them, and help them grow.
