The Middlebrook Series continues in 2025 with special events featuring the Forage War of the American Revolution this spring. This First Day Hike offers a teaser, following a gentle route along Somerville's Peters Brook Greenway and Main Street with stops for historical discussion of George Washington's March to Morristown through Somerville in January 1777 and a preview of upcoming special events and programs to look for in the new year for Revolution NJ, New Jersey's official observance of the 250th anniversaries of the American Revolution.

Difficulty Easy - 3 miles (Natural and compact surface, flat)

Age Chilren 6 years and older and dogs on leashes are welcome.
