Come tailgate and enjoy a massive fireworks show with your neighbors and friends for the City of Walker’s Independence Day Celebration on July 3. Bring your family, your tent, your volleyball net, your horseshoes and your barbecue pit. We’ll provide inflatables for the children – including a giant water slide – a car show and other activities, as well as snowballs and other treats. The event begins at 3 p.m. at Sidney Hutchinson Park on Corbin Avenue in Walker, and will end at 9 p.m. with an impressive fireworks show. Admission is free and open to the public. No alcohol permitted.
