Since its opening in fall 1993, Desert Vista has provided a warm, friendly, stimulating environment with its richly diverse student body and staff. Its setting on a Hohokam archaeological site and special cultural classes make visitors mindful of the cultures that have nurtured the area's development over more than 1,500 years.

Desert Vista offers top-quality, state-of-the-art training in the high-tech fields of aviation and computers. Students also can find culinary arts, early childhood education and a wealth of other educational programs.
