One of our most established branches, the Downtown branch of the Metropolitan YMCA’s of Mississippi has all of the amenities that one could need in a wellness center.

Once you pass the smiling faces at the front desk you’ll find a newly remodeled aerobics studio, open airy weight and cardio room, a large functional fitness room complete with aspeed and training agility turf, plus an indoor walking/running track above, yoga and pilates studio, and modern locker rooms. Also, on beautiful Mississippi days enjoy the outdoor walking/running trail.

The Downtown branch is host to the Hardin Aquatics Center which is the perfect place to spend summer days and nights swimming! We offer private party or daycare rentals, as well as 2 fantastic water slides for kids of all ages!

The Downtown Y is home to the I.S. Sanders Preschool program for ages 6 weeks-5 years.

Monday – Thursday – 5:00am-9:00pm

Friday – 5:00am-7:00pm

Saturday – 8:00am-2:00pm

Sunday – 1:00pm-4:00pm
