MADISON, WI - This weekend, Wisconsin Democrats marked 60 days until the April 1 Spring Election by knocking on doors, making phone calls, and reaching out to family and friends to talk about the critical importance of electing Judge Susan Crawford to the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Over the course of two days, WisDems volunteers mobilized to complete more than 400 canvassing shifts and knocked on nearly 18,000 doors—doubling our efforts from our 60 Days To Win Weekend of Action in 2023. Across door-knocking, phone-banking and relational organizing efforts, WisDems volunteers reached out to more than 50,000 voters in total over the course of two days.
Democratic Party of Wisconsin Executive Director Sarah Abel issued the following statement:
“WisDems volunteers rallied this weekend to shift our year-round organizing operation into a new gear as we work to elect Judge Susan Crawford, completing more than 400 canvassing shifts and knocking on tens of thousands of doors across the state. We now have less than 60 days to defeat extreme Republican politician Brad Schimel, and we plan to leave it all on the field.”

NEWS 3000 MADISON: “Organizing door-knocking efforts in support of Crawford on Saturday, Julie McGivern says she wants to help energize the voter base. ‘A lot of people don’t understand what the supreme court is about and how it affects their day to day lives. And we know that this Supreme Court race is going to have a huge impact on the lives of people in Wisconsin.’ McGivern’s efforts are part of the state Democrats’ Weekend Of Action canvasses.”
CIVIC MEDIA: “Judge Susan Crawford met with voters in Oshkosh and Door County Saturday as she campaigns for Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice. She told voters in Oshkosh that this race is supposed to be non-partisan. She emphasized she would be fair and impartial on the bench. ‘I am running this race because I want to protect the rights of all Wisconsinites,’ Crawford said. ‘I don’t care if you fall on the red side of the political spectrum or the blue side of the political spectrum, I’m here fighting for all of our rights.’”
FOX 11 GREEN BAY: “There is no primary and the two candidates were both in Oshkosh Saturday morning speaking in front of supporters. The race between Dane County Circuit Court Judge Susan Crawford and Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge Brad Schimel will decide which way Wisconsin’s Supreme Court will lean. … Crawford told Winnebago County Democrats Schimel is the most extreme candidate to ever run for the job. ‘In my court room, everybody gets treated the same,’ said Crawford. ‘Everybody gets a fair shake.’”
