Join us for our annual Welcome the Whales Festival and Parade!

Each spring, a small group of gray whales, affectionately known as The Sounders, returns to Puget Sound to feed on ghost shrimp. Some of these amazing animals migrate up to 12,000 miles round trip every year! Please join us on April 12th and 13th to welcome them back.

11:00 - 1:00 - Costume making, face painting and activities at Langley United Methodist Church

1:30 - Stage for parade

2:00 - Critter Parade through Langley

2:30 - 3:30 - Waterside Ceremony at Whale Bell/Seawall Park

April 13 - Presentation and Whale Watch

Schedule:

12:00 - Presentation at Langley Whale Center with John Calambokidis of Cascadia Research Collective. This presentation will be hybrid in-person and virtual.
