Tempe offering significant cost savings for business live music permits

Tempe, AZ - Start planning for patio weather. If your business would like to host live music, now's the time to get your permit. We've made permitting fees significantly more affordable. The one-time fee is being reduced to $200, down from $1,671, through March 1. 

By reducing the cost of the permit, it's hoped that more businesses will hire more musicians and offer more entertainment.

Businesses interested in the discounted live music permit should:

- Complete a Use Permit application and include a letter of explanation with the entertainment options being considered and a floor plan of the site.

- Have the application approved by the Development Review Commission. This process includes a public hearing.

- Pay the $200 fee.
