Celebrate Syracuse City's rich history and community spirit at the annual Heritage Days festival!

This vibrant event features a week-long lineup of activities. From the lively parade to the free community concert, Heritage Days offers something for everyone. The festival is a perfect opportunity for families to enjoy live entertainment, delicious food, and a spectacular fireworks display.

Schedule of the Event:

June 21, 2025

Norm Hansen Memorial Golf Tournament

- 8:00 AM Shotgun Start at Glen Eagle Golf Course (3176 W 1700 S)
- Register by calling Glen Eagle Golf Club at (801) 773-4653.

Player Registration

- Green Fee: $280/foursome ($70/person)
- Four-person scramble (team handicaps used, no individual handicaps required)
- Includes towels, bucket of balls, lunch, raffle drawings, ball marker, and goody bag.

Prizes:

- 1st Place Team: $600/team
- 2nd Place Team: $400/team
- 3rd Place Team: $200/team
- Long drives (2) Men and Women
- Closest to the Hole (2) Men and Women

Miss Syracuse Pageant

6:00 PM at Syracuse High School (665 S 2000 W)
The Miss Syracuse Pageant is an annual event that celebrates and crowns talented and accomplished young women, showcasing their skills and community involvement.

Pitch Hit & Run and Home Run Derby Competition

This free event provides youth with an opportunity to showcase their baseball and softball skills. Pre-registration is required.

Family Movie Day

Bring your family for a fun outing at the movies!

Syracuse residents must reserve tickets IN PERSON at the Syracuse Community Center (tickets are unavailable online or over the phone) during the specified reservation window. Seats are limited - tickets will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Each ticket comes with a free bag of popcorn redeemable at the concession stand. Seats are not reserved, so arrive early to get your seat. Do not leave spaces between groups to accommodate the full theater, or your group may be moved.

Dodgeball Tournament

Participate in the 1st annual co-ed adult dodgeball tournament!

Cost: $160 per team. Each team will consist of eight players.

Sand Volleyball Tournament

Come bump, set, and spike your way through this fun tournament!

Cost: $60 per team. Each team can consist of up to four players.

Dine at the Community Center or take it to go to the parade!

Parade

9:00 AM on 2000 W (from the 2700 S roundabout to Syracuse High School)

- NO PARKING along the parade route on 2000 W after 6 AM.
- ROAD CLOSURES. Please avoid these areas if you are traveling. The surrounding roads will be closed for approximately three hours, and you will need to find a different route. There will be no outlet during this time, so if you live in the area, please plan accordingly. 2000 W could be closed as early as 8 AM. Antelope Drive could be closed as early as 8:30 AM.
- SPECTATOR AREAS. We ask that you wait until the night before to reserve a spot on city property. Avoid using tarps or any materials that might harm the grounds. Note that the city cannot be held responsible for items left unattended, as they could be moved, damaged, or stolen. The sprinklers may run during the evenings, and belongings may get wet. Also, please refrain from attempting to reserve spots on private property.
- CLEAN UP. Please help us keep our community well-maintained and clean up the area around you following the parade.

Auto Show

10:00 AM - 3:00 PM at Founders Park (1700 S 1904 W)
Register for FREE on the morning of the auto show.
All vehicles are welcome, and all entrants should use the east entrance from 1500 S Banbury Drive. Dash plaque awards are based on entrant voting and will be presented at 3 PM.
Entries may participate for free in the Heritage Days Parade. Submit an application before June 20, 2025, to participate.
