Susan Crawford Caught Selling Two House Seats for Donations

Government and Politics

January 29, 2025

MADISON, WI - Susan Crawford and the Democratic machine are selling two of Wisconsin’s seats in the U.S. House of Representatives in exchange for contributions to Susan Crawford’s campaign for Wisconsin Supreme Court. In a shocking email, obtained by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Democratic donors were asked to attend a fundraising briefing described as a “Chance to put two more House seats in play for 2026,” featuring Susan Crawford and Wisconsin Democratic Chairman Ben Wikler.

Organizers of the event include California billionaire Reid Hoffman. Susan Crawford’s willingness to offer congressional seats in exchange for their support begs the question, what else has she promised out-of-state billionaires? This leak makes clear Susan Crawford is incapable of ruling fairly and objectively on Wisconsin’s Supreme Court.

“In an appeal to entice out-of-state billionaires, Susan Crawford said the quiet part out loud: she is begging to be bought and paid for. Her willingness to use the Court as a market for political favors is not only unethical, it’s disrespectful to the people of Wisconsin who are owed justice by their government. Susan Crawford is unfit to serve on the Wisconsin Supreme Court,” stated WisGOP Chairman Brian Schimming.

Susan Crawford’s attempt to sell 2 of Wisconsin’s US House seats in exchange for financial support is one more disqualifying, partisan action from the pretend nonpartisan:

  • Susan Crawford received $1,000,000 from Democratic Party of Wisconsin.
  • As an attorney, Crawford advanced the progressive agenda of special interest groups, promoting policies she now pretends to be “impartial” to. She represented the fight to eliminate Wisconsin’s Voter ID laws and Act 10.
  • Susan Crawford proudly touted endorsements from the entire liberal majority of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, a group notorious for their activist rulings that prioritize ideology over the rule of law.
  • Almost 40% of her financial backers are from out of state, including liberal elites who are out-of-touch with the values of hardworking Wisconsin families.
