Before Trump can start lying to Michiganders in his extremist diatribe, Michigan Dems remind voters of his long history of broken promises

LANSING — Later on March 4th night, Donald Trump will give joint remarks where he will tell lies about his broken promises. Since day one, Trump has only been focused on helping himself and padding the pockets of his billionaire buddies, all at the expense of working Michigan families. 

“In one month on the job, Donald Trump has been an abject failure in helping the middle class,” said Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party Curtis Hertel. “He hasn’t done a damn thing to help working Michiganders, and in fact, he’s made it worse by gutting critical programs and raising prices with his dangerous trade war.

“Donald Trump is trying to rob Americans and Michiganders blind, but we see right through it. For every day that Trump and his extremist Republicans try to steal from the middle class, Michigan Democrats will be here to fight back and try to protect the working families that he has left behind.”
