Redfish is a documentary film festival in Historic Downtown Panama City, Florida. Our goal is to be the premier event of its kind in the Southeast U.S. We celebrate the documentary art-form and throw great parties. If you enjoy documentaries, we’ll have films, keynotes, panels, and discussions. All the stuff expected in a top film festival. If you aren’t that into docs, but you love a good time, we’re here for you. Downtown Panama City will be the host location for our opening night red carpet party, a community block party, VIP meet-the-artists gatherings, a closing night masquerade, and a themed champagne brunch.

Join us for a night to celebrate Panama City's past, present, and future. Our Redfish opening night party is called From Bayou to Beyond. It will be at Sapp House on Thursday, April 24, 2025

We'll have chef-catered food that celebrates our town (and our presenting sponsor Coca-Cola) and will turn the iconic Sapp House into an art installation about where we've been, where we are, and where we are going.

Based on the Edgar Allan Poe story, imagine a classical masquerade party, everyone dressed in lush red formal wear, with themed masks, food, and decor. Think dark, red Bridgerton, hidden in a building in Historic Downtown Panama City.

Imagine walls dripping with red light and fabric. Imagine chandeliers, ornate full size mirrors, imagine projection art and string music.

True crime brunch anyone?

We're taking our annual Redfish brunch onto beautiful St. Andrews Bay and solving a murder mystery in the process. You will board a boat for Papa Joe's Bayside and cruise the bay for a drink. Then have a great brunch at Papa Joe's prepared by their in-house chefs, a menu just for you.
