Pima County Partners With Banner – University Medicine On Town Hall On Senior Health

The Pima County Health Department and Banner – University Medicine will hold a virtual town hall on senior health on Wednesday, Feb. 8, from 6 to 7 p.m.

The free interactive town hall will be held on Microsoft Teams. Individuals can register and submit questions to the panelists here: https://weblink.bannerhealth.com/weblink/classes/info/MIH002VH. There also will be opportunities to submit questions during the town hall.

Health Department director Dr. Theresa Cullen will join four other panelists in discussing the following topics and more: dementia, falls prevention, medications, vaccinations, and sharing of community resources for seniors in our community.

The other scheduled panelists are:

- W. Mark Clark, president and chief executive officer of the Pima Council on Aging
- Dr. Mindy Fain, co-director, Arizona Center on Aging; Banner – University Medicine chief, division of geriatrics and Palliative Medicine
- Dr. Ashley Campbell, Clinical Pharmacist, Banner – University Medicine
- Dr. Allan Anderson, director of the Banner Alzheimer’s Institute Tucson
