Public Defense Services to offer legal clinic to get records sealed

PIMA COUNTY, Aug. 14, 2023 -- Pima County’s Public Defense Services office will offer a legal clinic on Aug. 22, 2023, that will assist people arrested for, charged with, and/or convicted of certain crimes in petitioning the court to seal their criminal records.

At the free clinics, clients are able to meet with an attorney to determine whether they can ask the court to seal their record. Attorneys will help petitioners fill out paperwork to seal their record, and share information on how sealing their record might affect their individual situation.

The clinic will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Public Defense Services’ 10th floor conference room, 33 N. Stone Ave.

This is a walk-in clinic. No appointment is necessary.
