On May 8, 2025, more than 100 Nevadans attended a town hall hosted by NV Dems Chair Daniele Monroe-Moreno, State Senator Skip Daily, Assemblymember Erica Roth, and Washoe County Dems Chair Ross Kinson in the heart of Mark Amodei’s district. NV Dems heard from the same constituents who Amodei refuses to listen to and who Joe Lombardo dismissed as “paid protestors” looking for “handouts” and let elected Republicans know that Nevadans will not be silent as they cut programs to pave the way for tax cuts for billionaires. 

This comes as Trump’s price-raising agenda, including cutting Medicaid and education funding along with $15.5 billion in clean energy investments and more than 20,000 good-paying jobs, is pummeling Nevada’s economy and raising costs for working families and businesses. 

“Democrats are building community, listening to Nevadans, and laying the groundwork to build a ground game that will deliver Democratic victories up and down the ballot,” said Nevada State Democratic Party Chair Daniele Monroe-Moreno. “While Mark Amodei and Joe Lombardo ignore the needs of working class families, Democrats are meeting face to face with voters in Republican districts and fighting for every Nevadan.”
