N.C. Court of Appeals Vindicates Election Integrity Protests

Government and Politics

April 4, 2025

On April 04, 2025, the North Carolina Court of Appeals vindicated the election integrity protests of Judge Jefferson Griffin. This decision and order finally holds the N.C. State Board of Elections accountable for their actions and confirms every legal vote will be counted in this contest.

For months, Judge Griffin and the NCGOP have endured baseless attacks and incendiary rhetoric in this matter. Throughout this time, our position has been consistent: when the debate is about the merits, Judge Griffin will prevail in his election integrity concerns.

FACT: Voter ID is enshrined in the State Constitution and must be complied with by all voters in state elections.

FACT: Incomplete Voter Registrations must be cured due to the NCSBE’s repeated failures to collect the missing information.

FACT: Never Residents do not hold claims to North Carolina residency and therefore cannot vote in state elections.

“Our position has not wavered and today’s decision confirms the facts were on Judge Griffin’s side,” said NCGOP Chairman Jason Simmons. “This a victory for the rule of law and election integrity.”

Democrats have spent months engaging in a personal smear campaign against Judge Griffin and his family. Their behavior during this process has been a stain on democracy and must come to an end at once.
