From: Idaho Mountain FestivalThe Idaho Mountain Festival is a 4-day, all-inclusive climbing retreat, hosted inside Castle Rocks State Park, right next door to the world-renowned City of Rocks National Reserve.
Enjoy a long weekend of classic, granite climbing (sport, trad, and bouldering) without the hassle of dealing with the logistics of finding campsites, meals, and entertainment.

Kids Fest
Kid Fest is a day camp-style event for your child to have fun and learn while you are out climbing.
Hours: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Lunch will be provided.
Cost: $60 for a full day or $30 for a half day (Extra Fee)

How to Pay
You can pay by Venmo to @Kari-Eaton-1. Please include in the comments your child’s name, then an email will be sent to you confirming your registration. If you don’t have Venmo you can pay at the festival but it will need to be the exact amount in cash. We will not have any change.
How Kids Fest Works
The children will be split into age groups and divided into stations. They will rotate to different stations learning and creating new things throughout the day. The activities will be adapted to meet the development needs of the children to ensure the child can accomplish the learning task and activity.
Age Groups
Ages 3-5 years old- The Mountain Munchkins
They will have an enjoyable day with hands-on activities that encourage their innate sense of curiosity and wonder. Topics have been chosen to help them to explore nature through play and art. They will get to learn about the world around them and how to have fun in nature.
Ages 5-6 years old-The Crux Crew
They will have a fun-filled day with hands-on activities that encourage education and physical activity. They will learn about nature and science. They will go on a small hike and learn about the area of Castle Rock. They will use their imagination and creativity to create artwork and crafts.
Ages 7-8 years old- Summit Squad
They will dive deeper into more complex activities by designing and building projects. They will work in teams to play field games and complete challenges. They will go on a longer hike looking for native plants and animals.
