From: Florida Governor Ron DeSantisTALLAHASSEE, FL - On February 17, 2025, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the reappointment of Jason Comerford, Anthony Oliverio, and Gretchen Saunders to the Board of Chiropractic Medicine.
Jason Comerford, DC
Comerford is the Owner of Sports Chiropractic, Health, and Rehab in Palm Bay. He previously served as a company commander and combat medic with 25 years of service in the United States Army, receiving the Army Commendation Medal, the Achievement Medal, the Service Ribbon, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the Air Assault Badge. Comerford earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Central Florida and his Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine from Palmer College of Chiropractic.
Anthony Oliverio, DC
Oliverio is a Licensed Chiropractic Physician at Neck and Back Care Center of Crystal River. Active in his community, he currently serves as a member of the American and Florida Chiropractic Associations. Oliverio earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and his Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine from Palmer College of Chiropractic.
Gretchen Saunders
Saunders is currently retired and previously served as the Chief Financial Officer for the St. John’s County School District. Active in her community, she previously served as the Chair of the Florida Finance Council. Saunders earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ferris State University and her master’s degree in public administration from Central Michigan University.
These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
