TALLAHASSEE, FL - On January 24, 2025,  Governor Ron DeSantis announced the reappointment of Dr. Robert Easton to the Board of Optometry.

Dr. Robert Easton
Dr. Easton, of Oakland Park, is the President and Optometric Physician for Easton Eye Care. He is the former President of the Association of Regulatory Boards in Optometry, the Florida Optometric Association, and the Broward County Optometric Association. Dr. Easton earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Central Florida and his doctorate in optometry from the University of Houston. 

This appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
