TALLAHASSEE, FL - On May 19, 2025, Governor Ron DeSantis announces two judicial appointments:

Mark Robens, of Dade City, to serve as Judge on the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court

Robens has been a Partner at Stichter, Riedel, Blain & Postler, PA since 2022. He has worked at the firm since 2014. He earned his bachelor’s degree from St. John Vianney College Seminary and his juris doctor from Stetson University. Robens fills the judicial vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Stearns.

Marlon Weiss, of Hollywood, to serve as Judge on the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit Court

Weiss has been a Partner at Armstrong Teasdale, LLP since 2021. Previously, he was a Law Clerk for the U.S. District Court. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and his juris doctor from Emory University. Weiss fills the judicial vacancy created by the retirement of Chief Judge Tuter.
