Governor Tina Kotek announced on Feb 19th, that she will appoint Ryan T. O’Connor to the Oregon Court of Appeals. Mr. O’Connor will fill the vacancy created by the prior resignation of Josephine Mooney. The appointment is effective immediately.

Ryan O’Connor is a partner with O’Connor Weber LLC, one of Oregon’s strongest appellate advocacy law firms and Co-Executive Director of Equal Justice Law. He has successfully litigated some of Oregon’s most complex and important criminal cases. Before that he worked in the Office of Public Defense Services.
