ANDERSON, IN - On February 28, 2025, Governor Mike Braun held a Freedom & Opportunity Roundtable in Madison County with nine Hoosiers.

The Madison County residents at the roundtable voiced their concerns with high property taxes and expressed support for Governor Braun's plan to give Hoosier homeowners property tax relief, discussed the need for more apprenticeships and workforce development planning, and how to make our state government more efficient to better serve Hoosiers.

One Hoosier from Anderson even brought his property tax bill to show the shocking rate of increase over the past few years.

The group met at FabACab, a small business based in Anderson, who hosted the meeting and gave the Governor a tour of their operation.

"When I was building a business, feedback from customers was the cornerstone of every decision I made. As Governor, nothing is more important to me than listening to Hoosiers’ ideas for how to make their lives better and how state policies are affecting them and their families. Hoosiers are hurting from high property taxes, and we need to give them immediate relief." - Governor Mike Braun
