Gov. Beshear Makes Appointments to Kentucky Boards and Commissions

FRANKFORT, KY - Gov. Andy Beshear has made the following appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions:

Gov. Beshear has appointed Michelle Snodgrass-Deimling to the Personnel Board.

  • Michelle Snodgrass-Deimling of Cold Spring is the former Campbell County commonwealth’s attorney. She replaces Joseph Hardesty, who has resigned, and will serve for the remainder of the unexpired term expiring Jan. 1, 2028.

Gov. Beshear has appointed Harold McKinney to the Kentucky Board of Education representing the Third Supreme Court District.

  • Harold McKinney of Danville is the former judge/executive of Boyle County. He replaces Paul Long, who has resigned, and will serve for the remainder of the unexpired term expiring April 14, 2028.

Gov. Beshear has appointed Holli Blanford and Danielle Anguish to the Henderson Community College Board of Directors.

  • Holli Blanford of Henderson is the public relations director for the city of Henderson. She replaces Eric Gardner, whose term has expired, and will serve for a term expiring Feb. 5, 2031.
  • Danielle Anguish of Henderson is the children’s services manager at the Henderson County Public Library. She replaces Jennifer Keach, who has resigned, and will serve for the remainder of the unexpired term expiring Dec. 6, 2025.

Gov. Beshear has appointed Keith Murt, Kevin Spraggs and Rita Dotson to the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway Development Authority to serve for terms expiring Feb. 2, 2029.

  • Keith Murt of Paducah is the president of Murtco, Inc. He replaces Kenneth Imes, whose term has expired.
  • Kevin Spraggs of Benton is the judge/executive of Marshall County. He replaces Craig Clymer, whose term has expired.
  • Rita Dotson is the mayor of Benton. She replaces Hollis Alexander, whose term has expired.

Gov. Beshear has reappointed Sean Garber and Kyle Henderson to the Unemployment Insurance Commission.

  • Sean Garber of Prospect is the CEO of Algar Inc. He represents employers as a member of the Commission and will serve for a term expiring Oct. 25, 2028.
  • Kyle Henderson of Paducah is the business manager of Plumbers & Steamfitters Local Union 184. He represents labor and will serve for a term expiring July 25, 2028.

Gov. Beshear has appointed David Hall and Adam Caswell to the Kentucky Workforce Innovation Board for terms expiring Feb. 2, 2028.

  • David Hall of Louisville is the vice president of public affairs at CSX Corporation. He represents business as a member of the Board and replaces Michael Buckentin, whose term has expired.
  • Adam Caswell of Ft. Thomas is the vice president of Gravity Diagnostics. He represents business and replaces Karen Trial, whose term has expired.

Gov. Beshear has appointed Matthew Partymiller of Lexington as a member of the Energy Planning and Inventory Commission to serve for a term expiring Feb. 4, 2029.

  • Matthew Partymiller is an electrical contractor at Solar Energy Solutions LLC and represents producers of renewable electricity as a member of the Commission.

Gov. Beshear has appointed Preston Worley to the School Facilities Construction Commission to serve for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2030.

  • Preston Worley of Lexington is an attorney at McBrayer PLLC. He replaces Joseph Hayes, whose term has expired.

Gov. Beshear has appointed Robert Dowler and Mark Smith to the Kentucky River Authority.

  • Robert Dowler of Frankfort is a civil engineer at HMB Professional Engineers and represents registered engineers as a member of the Authority. He replaces Barry Sanders, whose term has expired, and will serve for a term expiring Jan. 30, 2028.
  • Mark Smith of Carrollton is an insurance agent for State Farm and represents citizens of a county adjacent to locks. He will serve for a term expiring Feb. 10, 2029.

Gov. Beshear has reappointed Jaron Alexander and has appointed Steve Ashburn to the Kentucky Board of Barbering.

  • Jaron Alexander of Louisville is a barber at The LAB Professional. He represents barbers and will serve for a term expiring Feb. 1, 2028.
  • Steve Ashburn of Lawrenceburg is a barber at Hair Masters and represents barbers as a member of the Board. He replaces Francis Simpson, who has resigned, and will serve for the remainder of the unexpired term expiring Feb. 1, 2026.
