Beneath a huge tent, the Festival convenes a city block’s worth of delicious bites and sips, with winemakers, craft brewers, and distillers, pouring and pairing alongside the region’s best restaurants, farmers, and specialty-food vendors. The Grand Tasting will offer ticket-holders an all-you-can-sample taste of the Pee Dee’s tantalizing food culture, with a performance stage offering chef demonstrations, competitions, and live music!

On the grounds of the Francis Marion University Performing Arts Center, a Friends of James Beard Benefit
Pee Dee native Rodney Scott, a James Beard Award-winning chef, cookbook author, and TV personality, will serve as headlining chef for a delicious, multi-course seated dinner featuring dishes from his award-winning cookbook Rodney Scott’s World of BBQ, prepared by Pee Dee area restaurant chefs. Napa Valley’s renowned Chappellet Winery, featuring its coveted Pritchard Hill wines, will be pouring wines to complement the menu.
