FARGO, ND – The Spirit Lake Tribal Council reported on Mar 5th, that two people were killed in a shooting in St. Michael on Tuesday morning and one is in critical condition.

Democratic-NPL Chair Adam Goldwyn said, “Our deepest sympathies go out to the families, Spirit Lake Nation, and everyone impacted by this tragedy. Native American women are disproportionately affected by gun violence, and we urge legislators to consider ways to create safer communities for all North Dakotans.”
