9:00 am-1:00 pm- Car and Bike Show | Morton Park

9-10:30 am-   Registration on-site, $15 per car and $10 per bike

1:00 pm- Awards Presentation

June 29,2025

1:00 pm- 5:00 pm- Hackett Memorial Bingo | Charleston VFW, 1821 20th St.
Win cash and great prizes.  Hard card bingo, 25 cents per card, per game.  Bring the family.

July 2 ,2025

7:30 pm - Free Patriotic Concert | Kiwanis Park Daum Amphitheater
Charleston Community Band

July 3 ,2025

3:00 pm - Morton Park | Vendors/Food Open- All you can eat ice cream for $3!

7:00 pm - Free concert on the main stage featuring Rockland Road! Bring your lawn chairs or blanket!

7:45 pm- Little Miss and Mr. Firecracker

8:00 pm - Free concert on the main stage featuring Exile!  Bring your lawn chairs or blanket!

7:00 am- 11:00 am- American Legion Pancake Breakfast:
East Pavilion, $10 , except for kids 5 and under eat free, and Kids 6 to 10 are $5

9:00 am - Chalk-In, Coles County Arts Council  

9:30 am - Pet Parade, 4-H Dog Spin Club  

10:00 am - Inflatables, Vendors/Food, Foam Pit

1:00 pm - Parade

2:00 pm - Patriotic Bell Ringing, celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the Charleston Fire Department

5:00 pm Gates Open- Fireworks Coles County Memorial Airport, vendors and parking open at 5 pm, shuttles run from O'Brien Stadium at EIU and Dunham Sports at Cross County Mall starting at 5 pm and will transport to and from the airport all evening. If driving, where you enter is where you exit. From the west, you enter and exit at the main airport entrance, and from the east, you enter and exit at the 911 building. No pets, alcohol, personal fireworks or sparklers allowed.
