6:30pm – 9:00pm: 5th Annual Black Forest Biergarten Fundraiser

We are excited to bring the 5th Annual Biergarten Fundraiser to the Black Forest again this year. The 2023 Black Forest Biergarten is a night out with music, beer and fun.

We are turning our fundraising efforts to the Black Forest Community Center and the “Love the Logs” project.

The Community Center is a log structure built by the Black Forest community in 1926 with logs donated from local families. The logs need to be maintained and we are raising money to re-stain the logs and repair or replace any wood that is damaged or rotting. The Community Center is a pivotal force in the heart of our unique Black Forest community. With your help, we can keep the Community Center available to all for another 90+ years!

2023 Black Forest Biergarten General Admission tickets are $25 and include musical entertainment from Wirewood Station, a party bag, a custom souvenir glass from the event, (4) tickets for 2-ounce sample pours, and (2) 8-oz pour drink tickets for a fill of the glass with your choice of beer, or beers, from one of our featured breweries. Sample a few and then fill your glass!

6:30am - 9:30am: Pancake Breakfast

The community Pancake Picnic Breakfast returns to kick off Festival Day bright and early. Pancakes are free, but donations are accepted. Thank you R&R Coffee Cafe and Boy Scout Troop 70!

10:30am: Parade

The Black Forest parade begins at 10:30am. Everyone loves a parade!
Many local businesses and organizations participating in the parade, so come out and join the fun!

8:00am - 3:00pm: Artisan and Business Booth Fair

Our booths are 100% full! We have a great selection of local artisans and businesses participating this year.
This will be a great time to shop and enjoy the talent from our fantastic local artisans.

8:00am - 1:00pm: Children's Entrepreneur Market

Come out for a Farmer’s Market run entirely by kids! We are so excited to have the Children’s Entrepreneur Market at the Black Forest Festival this year! This is the first time we have highlighted young entrepreneurs and we have a special section at the Festival Artisan and Booth Fair dedicated entirely to these amazing kids!

12:00pm - 3:00pm: Family Beer Garden

Back by popular demand, we are hosting a Family Beer Garden during the Festival again this year. Families can come into the Beer Garden for drinks, sodas, water, games, and music.  This is a different event from the Biergarten Fundraiser, which takes place on Friday, August 11th.

7:00am - 3:00pm: Live Music

There will be plenty of live music during the festival, both in the Music Pavilion and in The Backyard.

In a rural community like the Black Forest, there are so many interesting skills to showcase. Our live demonstrations include Chainsaw Carving, BeeKeeping, Division of Wildlife, and More.

We will showcase the very successful Demonstration Gardens, which we built in the Backyard Area; and Paul and Emmy from the Black Forest Victory Garden Club will also be hosting simple pump demos.

You can’t have a festival in Black Forest without Tractor Rides! Many thanks to all that participate to make this fun event possible.

Children's Games

We have a wide variety of children’s games during the festival to deliver fun for children of all ages!
Games will take place on the Community Center Lawn.

Children's Crafts

We have a great craft planned for kids during the festival!
Join the Girl Scouts in the Community Center Parking Lot to make a special craft that you can keep for years!
