ART AT ST. KATE’S

            

16th annual ART FAIR of local artists

presented by Artists’ Circle, Textile Center and 

St. Catherine University

Art at St. Kate’s, a juried art fair of quality fine crafts and fine art, is produced by Artists’ Circle, a Minnesota non-profit art organization promoting fine crafts since 1997, and Textile Center, a national center for fiber arts in Minneapolis. 

Art at St. Kate’s is one of the finest one-day outdoor art fairs in Saint Paul. It is located on the beautiful triangular green space at Cleveland and Randolph Avenues on the Saint Paul campus of St. Catherine University. The show is organized and run by artists for artists and showcases 100 local fine art and fine craft artists from the upper Midwest.

Art at St. Kate’s features quality work by 100 local juried artists who create and sell fine art and fine crafts including clay, fiber, glass, leather, jewelry, metal, paper, wood, mixed media, as well as fine arts including painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. This art fair has everything from leather handbags, cloisonné pendants, and stained glass to hand-woven scarves, wood and copper birdhouses, woodcut prints, acrylic and oil paintings, collages, original cards, metal sculptures, quilts, hand-blown glass, hand-made paper, ceramic vases, bowls and mugs.
Strolling musicians and food trucks are also part of the art fair.

Our five featured artists include some of the upper Midwest best known: Linda Nelson Bryan-fiber, St. Paul; Sharon Cherney-leather, Clayton WI; Coralette Damme-printmaking, St. Paul; Nora Miller-jewelry, Saint Paul; Melinda Sisk-clay, Eden Prairie.

Art at St. Kate’s provides artists with a beautiful site not only to market their original art works, but also to interact with the appreciative and knowledgeable public for which the Twin Cities is well known.
