On Saturday, January 18, the Arizona Democratic Party elected Robert Branscomb as 2025-2026 Chairman of the Party.
Robert Branscomb brings over three decades of experience in corporate management, small business ownership, and public service. Branscomb previously served as Vice Chair of the Party during the 2023-2024 cycle and was an Arizona delegate at the 2024 Democratic National Convention. Branscomb’s election is historic, as the first African American to hold the position of Arizona Democratic Party Chair.
“I am incredibly honored to be leading our Party during such a critical time in its development. As Party Chair, I will work to bring new people into our coalition, uplift grassroots organizers that are engaging voters year round, and to make the Party accessible to all Arizonans that want to learn more about our platform. Alongside our new Executive Board, I am excited about the work we will do together over the course of the next two years.”
The Arizona Democratic Party is focused on protecting incumbent Democrats and electing more Democrats up and down the ballot this next election cycle. Voters can visit azdem.org to make a donation or learn more about key priorities within the Party.
