6:00pm: Twist and Shout

Be prepared to twist, bend, and contort on our oversized Twister board as you twist and shout your way to stay alive on the board. 40 participants will play 2 games of single elimination. All ages are welcome!

Saturday, January 25th, 2025

5:30pm: Word Warriors

A scrabble competition where word enthusiasts nd strategists come together to test their vocabulary, spelling skills, and tactical thinking. Players compete in a series of timed rounds, aiming to score the highest points by creating words on a shared game board. 6 tables of 5 players. There will be a winner per table. All ages are welcome!

4:00pm: Snowdown Board Game Crafts

Get your game on- literally! Design your own accessories and jewelry with our supply of surplus board game pieces!   The possibilities are endless, while supplies last! Free for adults, ages 17+

Tuesday, January 28th, 2025

6:00pm: Pinball Board Game Olympics

This will be a pinball smorgasboard/game of events. There will be 4 or 5 mini events held for fun and prizes. There will be a small game of 2 v 2, players split flippers (1 team shares right and left flippers) 2 games of stall ball (a conga line of unlimited players line up to "stall" the ball and then quickly get back in line) Come out and enjoy some casual but fun pinball events. All ages are welcome! $5 entry.

4:00pm: Snowdown Buttonmaking

Looking for a little extra Snowdown flavored flair? The library has you covered with our annual Snowdown Button Making event.   Create your own design or choose from one of ours. Free; all supplies will be provided. Fun for all ages!

5:30pm: Ska Double Trouble Darts

Possibly the only time it's acceptable to throw sharp objects in a bar. Bring a partner or connect with another solo soul to form a dynamic duo. The first 15 teams snag a spot, and a waitlist welcomes extra teams. Top 5 teams dive into an "Around the World" tountiment. Must be 21+

6:00pm: S-P-O-O-N-S

Grab those spoons! Calling all Midwestern Revelers to the game of the region. Join us in a masterful night of rowdy spoons as we battle for the coveted Spoon Crown. 15 tables will play elimination style for 5 rounds until the final round when we crown the master gamer! The game can be taught on the spot. All ages are welcome!

7:00pm: 80's Video Dance & Costume Party

Dress up in your 80's attire and come enjoy your favorite 80's videos playing on our movie screen, music ranging from Ah-Ha to ZZ Top, and every one between.   Tickets available only online or at the door (cash only) night of show. 21+ event / Doors 7:00pm / $10 cover

Step up to the table and test your wits at our high-stakes Blackjack Tournament! This thrilling competition combines luck, strategy and skill as players battle to outlast and outscore the opposition. Here's how it works: players with the lowest chip counts will be eliminated at the end of each game.
