As his attachment to his new friend increases, bizarre violent incidents start happening to the kids who bully him. Incidents that seem to have strange parallels with whatever Teddy is going through at the time. Max soon realizes that some kind of destructive force is being generated through his bond with Teddy. Can Max abandon Teddy, his only friend to avoid causing more harm. And if so, can he do so without any further consequences. Teddy is a story about social rejection, the never-ending cycle of violence, children’s potential for cruelty and their lack of understanding the harm they are capable of.
