Need a date night idea? The Kiawah Arts and Cultural Council is excited to bring you one of the best ballet renditions of Romeo and Juliet right here on Kiawah Island. What an incredible honor to be able to to see our own South Carolina Ballet Company, one of the premier ballet companies in the country, on our own turf and to top it off to have it on Valentines Day! Romeo and Juliet is one of the oldest of Shakespeare’s tales set against the backdrop of Verona. During the ballet we witness the passionate romance between the two star crossed lovers amidst the feuding families off Montague and Capulet. You will be swept away by the exquisite choreography and dynamic storytelling.
