Opening with Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Jessie Montgomery's dazzling Starburst, followed by Hovhaness's reflective Alleluia and Fugue. Pianist Joanne Pearce-Martin brings Gershwin's iconic Rhapsody in Blue to life, capturing its jazz-infused brilliance. After intermission, enjoy Copland's poignant Quiet City, spotlighting trumpet and English horn, and conclude with the beloved chamber version of Appalachian Spring, a timeless tribute to American optimism and spirit.
