Join Rachel Patton, Executive Director of Preserve Arkansas, to explore the vital work being done to preserve and interpret our state’s historic places. Dive into our annual Most Endangered Places list and learn about the educational programs and advocacy initiatives that drive our mission to protect Arkansas’s unique heritage. Whether you’re a history buff or just looking to learn more about our unique heritage, this course is your chance to get involved in preserving Arkansas’s historic treasures.

Required Supplies

- This class will meet in person at the OLLI offices, located at 481 S. Shiloh Drive, Fayetteville, AR 72704. Please read your class reminder email for the exact room location.

Rachel Patton

Rachel Patton has been working in historic preservation in Arkansas for more than 16 years. She currently serves as executive director of the statewide nonprofit, Preserve Arkansas. Rachel also serves as the president of the Arkansas Historical Association as well as on the executive committee of Preservation Action, the national grassroots lobby for historic preservation.
