The Dayton Ole Tyme Days Festival offers events and activities throughout the weekend: entertainment & interactive activities, exciting carnival rides and games; the car show; the beard & mullet contest; the junior chili championship; the Annual ‘Lil Miss and ‘Lil Mister Dayton Ole Tyme Days beauty pageant; as well as the ever popular and fun BBQ Cook-Off.

8 am-Noon - Car Show

Judging starts: 9 AM
Awards: 11:30 AM

$25 entry fee for FIRST entry, $15 for each additional entry per class per vehicle
$35 Entry fee per class per vehicle day of show
Participants may enter on Sterling Street on Hwy 321 at underpass ( behind McDonalds )

Junior Chili Cook-Off

Entry Fee: $25.00
Entries received after April 5, 2025 are $30.00

TURN IN TIME: 11 AM
AWARDS: 12:30 PM

2:00 PM – 4:00 pm - Jeep & 4 x 4 Show

Location: Town Center Downtown Dayton, Texas

Pre-register by march 28, 2025 - $20 Per Entry
Registration received after that date - $25 per entry

The Jeep Show will be held Saturday, starting at 2:00 PM and will conclude by 4:00pm.

"Easter Wonderland" Pageant - Main Stage

Time of Contest: 3:00 pm
Entry Fee: $30
Late Entry: $35
Photogenic Contest: 1st photo is $10 each additional photo is $5.
Awards: Main Stage: 4:30pm

BBQ Cook-Off

8:00 am – Cooks Meeting
10:00 am – Beans
11:30 am – Chicken
12:00 – 12:30 pm – Ribs
2:00 pm - Main Entrée
4:00 pm – Dessert
5:00 – 5:30 pm – Brisket

All entries received after 5:00 pm March 31, 2025 will be charged an additional $5.00 entry late fee per category.

Entry Fees:
Brisket, Ribs, Chicken, Main Entrée, Dessert, Steak, and Fajitas - $40 ea
Margarita, Beans - $30 ea

Bike Show

Please submit a separate entry form per entry per class. No limit on entries. $20 per entry.

Participants may arrive between 10 am – Noon.
Judging starts at 2 pm sharp.
Awards announced at 4 pm.
Participants may enter on Sterling Street on Hwy 321 at underpass ( behind McDonalds )
