Independence Day Celebrations

Ocean Park’s Independence Day Celebrations include a Fourth of July parade with floats, marching band, kazoo band, decorated bicycles and more! The parade is followed by a patriotic band concert at the Bell Tower. There is an all day art show at the Town Square, and the day ends with a community square dance.

Don’t forget about the Annual Sandcastle Competition which will be held from 1:00 - 4:00 PM at Randall to Ancona Ave. Beaches. For details, see Sand Castle Competition.

Sand Sculpture competition on the beach, near the end of Temple Ave. Theme: “Wonders of the World”. A flyer with information and rules is available at the Ocean Park Office after Memorial Day or at the site today. Judging begins at 4:00 pm, winners announced at 4:30 on the beach.
