Tamas agrees that Ivan can sit Shiva with him on the condition that his grandson, Ariel comes too. The film also explores the hardships and surprises that come with the integration of multiple families from different ethnic backgrounds and their struggle with immigration and prejudice and how they learn not only to exist in the same space, but to thrive.
