This course covers a broad range of subjects in diagnostic pathology including, but not limited to, breast, genitourinary, gynecologic, gastrointestinal, thoracic, head and neck, soft tissue, cytopathology, hematopathology, and molecular pathology. Presentations are geared towards the general surgical pathologist to include common diagnostic challenges, need-to-know updates, and emerging issues. Attendee participation is encouraged via an audience response system and engaging case reviews including interactive sessions using digital pathology. This year will also include evening small group interactive digital microscopy sessions. This course is designed for pathologists, pathologist assistants, pathology fellows and residents, and allied health staff with an interest in diagnostic pathology as well as surgeons and oncologists with an interest in new pathologic staging criteria.
