Mama’s Pizza, founded in 1968 by Ed Stebbins in Fort Worth, has become a local institution known for its East Coast-style pizza. Originally opened near Texas Wesleyan University, the pizzeria gained its name from “Mama” Biggs, a beloved staff member who became a legend for her dedication and tough spirit. Over the years, Mama’s expanded under the ownership of Frank and Chris Farkas, growing into multiple locations. Today, led by Jordan Scott, Mama’s continues its tradition of serving high-quality, handmade pizzas with fresh ingredients, earning numerous awards and a loyal following in Fort Worth and beyond.
