International Orchid And Garden Festival


One of our largest fundraisers of the year!

This Festival welcomes orchid enthusiasts and plant lovers alike to vividly experience – and purchase – diverse, colorful, and fragrant varieties of orchids, tropical plants, herbs, and fruit trees sold by local and international vendors. The two-day event will be taking place from 9 am — 4pm - , rain or shine. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy orchid and tropical plant displays, food vendors, libations, garden art, orchid care and general gardening lectures, live music, a Tropical Luau Lunch, and much more.

10:30 am - 11:30 am - Interactive Lecture: How to Grow Vanda Orchids with Segundo Cuesta, and his wife, Yolanda. They started hybridizing orchids in 1984, and they specialize in Art Shaped Cattleyas and in cloning old standards. Meet outside the gift shop 10 minutes before the scheduled time to walk over together.

11:30 am - 1:30pm - Tropical Luau Lunch takes place on the beautifully decorated Waterfront Veranda. A fully catered affair. Lunch tickets include a delectable buffet, Mai Tais, wine and beer, live Tahitian music and Hula dancers, and access to the house for a leisurely stroll through the rooms and Orchid Display House.Tropical Luau Lunch Tickets

11:30 am - 12:30pm - Interactive Lecture: Creating a Butterfly Garden with Julieta Ross, a Florida Master Gardener, and horticulture volunteer at Bonnet House. Meet outside the gift shop 10 minutes before the scheduled time to walk over together.

12:30pm - 1:30pm - Interactive Lecture: How to Grow Cattleya Orchids with Lou Lodyga; experienced orchid grower; American Orchid Society judge; and member, and former president, of Coalition for Orchid Species. Meet outside the gift shop 10 minutes before the scheduled time to walk over together.

1:30pm - 2:30pm - Interactive Lecture: Orchid Growing on Your Balcony or Terrace with Barbara Jasko. Meet outside the gift shop 10 minutes before the scheduled time to walk over together.
