the annual Highlands County Fair, stands as a testament to our unwavering dedication. This much-anticipated county fair brings together people from all walks of life, offering a wide array of entertainment, educational exhibits, thrilling rides, delicious food, and unforgettable experiences for the entire family. From thrilling carnival attractions to live performances, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

One of the highlights of the fair is the Junior Livestock Show and Auction, where young participants raise and showcase their livestock projects. This event not only teaches valuable skills in animal husbandry but also instills important lessons in responsibility, teamwork, and perseverance. The auction serves as a culmination of their efforts, as businesses and community members come together to support these aspiring agriculturists.

Throughout the year, the Highlands County Fair Association hosts various events that bring our community together. With our 28,000 square foot convention center (The Alan Jay Arena), we host everything from private activities and parties to educational workshops and recreational activities. Each of these events and activities contribute in some part to the fundraising efforts of our organization.
