Artist Statement:

In Driven By Dreams: Worth Every Cent, I explore how dreams lead me to strength and transformation. Each piece reflects the fortitude and personal growth that I find through my creative journey. Art holds more value than its price tag—it has the power to connect, heal, and inspire. This show is a celebration of art's true worth: its ability to move us beyond material value and into something more profound.

BIO:

Gabrielle Drew is a local Walkerville artist who grew up here in Montana. Her work explores themes of resilience through whimsy, using the juxtaposition of macabre elements and playful, vibrant colors reminiscent of hospitals or institutional settings. Through acrylic paintings, she creates spaces where food, color, and unexpected imagery come together to form a narrative of survival, strength, and transformation. Her spontaneous and intuitive approach to the creative process allows each piece to evolve organically. Often, with the aid of watered-down acrylics that create dripping textures and rapid drying effects.
