The Flint Under the Stars Concert Series features a whole new kind of show! A DJ battle is a high-energy event where DJs face off against one another to showcase their skills, creativity, and musical prowess. In this battle, four local DJs are going head-to-head, each trying to out do the other with their unique mixes, transitions, and ability to rouse the crowd.

Our show features DJ Chef Nate, DJ Hype, DJ Winter Soldier, and DJ SicMusiq. All four of them have performed extensively throughout Flint and Genesee County, and have made names for themselves as some of the best in town.

Our DJ battle will be hosted by CJ Barnes, a dynamic host and DJ known as CJtheDJ who is dedicated to elevating entertainment and community engagement in Flint. With a passion for music, technology, and culture, CJ is committed to creating spaces where creativity thrives.

Runtime: Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes

Flint Under the Stars is a concert series that spotlights local talent, held on the third Wednesday of each month under the starry dome of the FIM Capitol Theatre. This series, which supports local artists by providing them with a professional performance experience, features a donate-what-you-wish ticket price. All proceeds benefit KidsTix, a program that expands access to the arts by providing admission to live performances for children and their families.

$10 per ticket is the recommended KidsTix donation for this concert, and we understand that some may be able to give more and some less. Every measure is appreciated, and everyone is welcome.
