Immerse yourself in the untouched beauty of Dogwood Canyon Nature Park, a spectacular 10,000-acre outdoor paradise tucked away in the rugged Ozark Mountains near Lampe, Missouri. This breathtaking park offers a pristine landscape where towering bluffs, cascading waterfalls, and crystal-clear trout streams create a serene backdrop for outdoor exploration and adventure. At Dogwood Canyon, the group will board the tram so you can take in the beauty of the landscape as you pass handcrafted bridges, ancient burial caves, and enchanting bottomless blue-green pools. Each stop is a chance to witness nature’s wonders in their most untouched form.

The cost of admission and the tram tour are included in the price. Meeting location information will be sent in the class reminder.

This option is the Commuter Rate (CR) option.

This course is an in-person course. Participants will drive themselves (commuter rate) to the location of the class or may elect to meet the transportation group (details to be provided) and follow behind the van to the class location. Meeting details will be sent in the class reminder.

Doug is a retired academic advisor and part-time instructor from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, He is also an avid wildlife photographer, SCUBA diver, and world traveler who has touched all seven continents. A passionate photographer and world traveler, he has visited all seven continents and 47 of the 50 states.  In the last three years he has visited and extensively photographed in Australia, Africa, and Antarctica.
